Florida General Financial Power of Attorney Form | |
The Florida general financial power of attorney form is a document that will allow a Principal to designate an Agent to care for the finances and property on behalf of the Principal. This document must be carefully read and considered prior to completion and signature. If the Principal is unsure of the meaning of any portion of the document it’s highly recommended that the Principal consults with a knowledgeable attorney before moving forward. This document will not go into effect until it’s been witnessed by a notary and two witnesses. The Principal has the right to revoke this document at any time.
How to Write
Step 1 – Download the Document –
- In the top left corner, begin by entering the county in Florida where the document shall be recorded
- Enter the name of the Principal
- Enter the complete address
- Enter the designated Agent’s full name
- Address of Agent
Step 2 – Review of All Sections –
- The Principal must review paragraphs 1 through 16
- The Notary Public shall witness the signatures of the witnesses after they have reviewed the Attestation
- Provide the date of the execution of the document in dd/mm/yyyy format
- Witnesses Signatures
- The City and State where each witness resides
- The notary will complete the remainder of the form by entering their information and affixing the State Seal
