The Pennsylvania real estate ONLY power of attorney form is a document that is provided by a Principal to an Agent for the purpose of management, sale to include any transactions with regard to their real property only. This document shall terminate once the act is completed. If the Principal is uncertain about any portion of this document, they may choose to consult with an attorney for clarification or assistance in the completion of the document. The document must be attested by two witnesses and acknowledged by a notary. The document may be revoked, by the Principal at any time of their choosing.
How to Write
Step 1 – Notice –
- The Principal must review the first portion of the document prior to completion
- Once the review is complete, enter the Principal’s signature in acknowledgement
- Date the signature in mm/dd/yyyy format
Step 2 – Powers to Close a Real Estate Transaction- Enter the following information:
- The County of execution of the document
- Name of the Principal
- Address
- City
- State
- Zip Code
- AND
- Name of Agent
- County
Step 2 – Authorized Powers – Provide:
- Enter the address of the premises
- Read the remainder of the section
- Write or type a legal description of the property
- OR
- Attach Exhibit of the property
- Once the section has been read and completed:
- Date of signature in dd/m/yy format
- Principal’s signature
- Printed name
Step 3 – Agent’s Affirmation and Agreement – Read and submit:
- Agent’s name
- Read and agree to the remainder of the section
- Agent’s signature
- Date Agent’s signature in mm/dd/yyyy format
Step 4 – Notarization –
- The notary shall witness the signatures
- The notary shall then provide all state required information needed to properly acknowledge the document
