The Iowa vehicle power of attorney form is a document whereas a Principal will provide temporary powers to an Agent to oversee the acts of selling, buying, transference of vehicle documents etc for a limited amount of time.
The document must be notarized to be effective. This document may be revoked at any time.
How to Write
Step 1 – Download the document, review the list of documents required documents and gather them prior, to completion of the document (check off each document as you collect it)

- Principal’s First, Middle and Last Names
- Principal’s Full Physical Address
- County
- State
- AND
- Enter the Name of the Appointed Agent
- Enter the Agent’s Address
Step 3 – Vehicle Information –
- Iowa Title Information (if applicable)
- Make
- Style
- Year
- Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)
- Model
- Color
Step 4 – Signature –
- This document must be signed before a notary public.
Step 5 – Notarization –
- Once the Notary witnesses the completion of the document, the notary shall acknowledge the document by completing the required information and affixing their official seal
