Michigan Vehicle Power of Attorney Form | |
The Michigan vehicle power of attorney form is a document that will permit a Principal to assign an Agent to sign sales documentation and complete transactions and title work with regard to vehicles, watercraft or mobile homes. The Principal would complete the document and make it available to the Agent. This document may be revoked in writing, to the Agent at the Principal’s discretion.
How to Write
Step 1 – Agent Information –
- Enter the name of the Agent
- Provide the Agent’s complete address
- Provide the Agent’s Driver’s License Number or State ID Number
Step 2 – Vehicle Information –
- Year
- Vehicle Identification Number (VIN
- Make
- License Plate Number (if any)
Step 3 – Vehicle, Watercraft, or Mobile Home Owner Information – Enter the following:
- Owner’s Name
- Owner’s Street Address
- City
- State
- Zip Code
- Daytime Phone Number
- Owner’s Driver License or ID Card Number
- Today’s Date
- The owner must provide a photocopy of their valid driver license or state ID card to the agent.
Step 4 – Signature –
- The owner must provide their signature
