Arkansas Vehicle Power of Attorney Form | |
The Arkansas vehicle power of attorney form is a document which allows a person (“principal”) residing in Arkansas to select an agent to handle any type of vehicle-related matter with the Arkansas Department of Motor Vehicles. The owner of the vehicle must complete and sign the document for it to be accepted. The process is relatively simple and usually used when the principal is not available to complete the tasks of registration or sale of a vehicle. With this power of attorney, whomever the principal names on this form will have the ability to complete all legal requirements, by Arkansas state law, to sell or accept the vehicle on behalf of the principal. (See Ark. Code Ann. 21-68-101 paragraph 7)
