Free Delaware Power of Attorney Forms | 9 Types

Delaware Power of Attorney, as described in Chapter 49A (Delaware Uniform Power of Attorney Act), will allow a person also known as the Principal to appoint another person of their choosing, to act in their best interest with regard to the Principal’s specific needs as the Principal would as if they were making their own decisions. In most cases, the needs are medical or financial. Other needs may be taxpayer representation, vehicle, the need for temporary care for minor children or any other need for springing or limited scenarios.

State Definition – § 49A-102 “Means a writing or other record that grants authority to an agent to act in the place of the principal, whether or not the term power of attorney is used.”
