Minor Child Power of Attorney Forms | PDF Templates | |
Minor child power of attorney is a designation that is given by a parent who would like to select someone else to be the temporary guardian or their child for a temporary period of time. Most States restrict this type of power of attorney to a maximum time-period of 6 months or 1-year. At the end of the allotted time the parent may create a new power of attorney which would renew the designation for the time-period desired.
Acknowledgment – This type of power of attorney is highly recommended to be signed in front of a notary public.
